Roles explained
Access within a collection is controlled by roles. Each member has one role, which determines what they can view and change. Roles are ordered from least to most privileged:
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Viewer | View works, scores, and programs. |
| Member | Everything a viewer can, plus basic participation. |
| Editor | Create and edit works, scores, and programs. |
| Admin | Manage members and collection settings. |
| Owner | Full control, including billing and deletion. |
Higher roles include all the permissions of the roles below them. For example, an
admin can do everything an editor can.
To change someone's role, see Manage permissions.
