Performances
A program is your setlist — the ordered works you play. A performance is a single time you play that program: a specific date, at a specific place. One program can have many performances, so you build the setlist once and reuse it for every show, each with its own event details.
What a performance holds
Each performance carries the facts that change from show to show, while the works and their order stay on the program:
- Date & time — when the program is played.
- Venue and city — where it takes place.
- Performer — the ensemble or artist performing.
- Genre, capacity, and entrance fee (min/max).
- Description — anything else worth recording about the show.
Adding a performance
On a program's page, open the Performances section and choose Add performance. Fill in as much or as little as you know — even just a date is enough; you can edit the rest later.
Performances are grouped into Upcoming and Past and sorted by date, so the next show is always easy to find. Editors and above can add, edit, and delete performances; everyone with access to the collection can view them.
